Overview

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Invite Life website, membership platform, digital products, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

Who We Are

Invite Life (“Invite Life,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides event planning tools, templates, resources, and community features designed to help you plan celebrations with more ease and confidence.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account or purchase from us.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Purchases, Subscriptions, and Billing

If you purchase a subscription membership, you authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis according to the plan you select.

  • Payment processing: We may use third-party payment processors, including Stripe and PayPal, to process payments.
  • Renewals: Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • Plan changes: If you upgrade or downgrade, changes may take effect immediately or at the next billing cycle depending on the plan and platform settings.
  • Taxes: You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

Digital Products and License

When you purchase or download a digital product, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for your personal use (or internal business use, if the product description explicitly allows it).

You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, or share our digital products (including templates) outside your household/team unless explicitly permitted
  • Remove copyright notices 
  • Claim our work as your own

Community and User Content (Live)

Our community spaces are part of the Services and are live. By using community features (forums, comments, groups, or similar areas), you agree to participate respectfully and follow our Community Guidelines.

You are responsible for content you post (“User Content”). By posting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, reproduce, and use it as needed to operate, promote, and improve the Services.

We may remove User Content or restrict access to community features if we believe it violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or harms the community.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services
  • Upload malware or harmful code
  • Scrape, copy, or reverse engineer the Services except as permitted by law

Disclaimers

Invite Life provides educational and informational resources. We are not a law firm, financial advisor, or licensed professional service provider. Any examples, budgets, timelines, or vendor suggestions are general guidance and may not fit your specific situation.

You are responsible for your event decisions, vendor contracts, and outcomes.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Invite Life will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Invite Life harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Services, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings (if available) or by contacting us.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect changes. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law (Wisconsin)

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict of law principles.
